CFR's Mobile Offerings

The Council on Foreign Relations offers a range of options for browsing CFR and Foreign Affairs content on mobile devices.

iPhone App

CFR's free iPhone app showcases timely resources on U.S. foreign policy, national security, and international economics. These include:

• daily briefings with international newsmakers and foreign policy experts in both text and video format;
• primers on hot-button issues;
• the latest posts from CFR's thirteen expert blogs;
• full-length videos of recent CFR meetings; and
• commentary from CFR's more than seventy-five scholars.

Google Currents

CFR offers three editions on Currents, Google's social magazine app available for Android, iPhone, and iPad. They include: CFR Daily, CFR Blogs, and Foreign Affairs.

Ereaders

CFR publications, including Council Special Reports and Independent Task Force reports, are available for purchase as ebooks for the Amazon Kindle, Barnes & Noble Nook, Apple iPad, and Sony Reader. Foreign Affairs is also available on these platforms, and CFR's fifteen blogs are available on the Kindle.

Foreign Affairs iPad App

The leading magazine on global issues is available on the iPad. Download the free Foreign Affairs iPad app to get the latest issue before it hits the newsstand. Users can also get ebooks, select back issues, and iPad Extras, including special collections like "Foreign Affairs on Television" and "Foreign Affairs Summer Reading."

Magazine subscribers and CFR Members can access their issues via the app for free. Individual issues, ebooks, and iPad Extras are also available for purchase.

Foreign Affairs, published by the Council on Foreign Relations since 1922, is an independent magazine of analysis and commentary on foreign policy and international affairs. In recent biannual surveys, Foreign Affairs has been ranked among the top five most influential media outlets by the independent research firm Erdos & Morgan.
