A writer, broadcaster, and digital media pioneer on foreign and national security affairs, Moran is a former correspondent for the BBC, MSNBC and Radio Free Europe. He now provides the editorial direction for CFR.org.

Languages:Working knowledge of German and Spanish.
Honors:Michael Moran is a veteran journalist and award-winning former foreign correspondent. He also is an adjunct professor at Bard College’s Center for Globalization and International Affairs, and served for a decade on the board of the Overseas Press Club. In 2003, Moran taught as Hearst New Media Fellow at Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
Selected Publications:Moran’s work has appeared in the New York Times, the Washington Post, Newsweek, the Economist, the Spectator (UK), the Guardian, the New Leader, on National Public Radio and in many other outlets.
