Vice Chairman; Chairman, Mecox Ventures, Inc.
Mr. Salomon is chairman of Mecox Ventures, a private investment company. He was president and managing director of the investment advisory firm, Spears, Benzak, Salomon & Farrell from 1982 until 2000. Mr. Salomon serves as senior advisor to David Rockefeller, and also advises other high net-worth families. In addition, he is chairman of the advisory board of Blackstone Alternative Asset Management Group. He is a director of Boston Properties. He is a trustee of the Museum of Modern Art and the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation. He serves as the vice chairman of the board of trustees of Rockefeller University, and is chairman of its nominating and governance committee. Mr. Salomon serves on the investment committees of the Museum of Modern Art and the Sloan Foundation. He is based in New York, NY.
