(Palestinian Authority), President, Al Quds University
Dr. Nusseibeh is president and professor of philosophy at Al-Quds University in Jerusalem. He was the architect of the strategy of civil resistance during the intifada from 1987 to 1993, and returned to political life from 2001 to 2003, when he served as the political commissioner for Jerusalem affairs in the PLO, the highest Palestinian official in Jerusalem.
