(Nigeria), AU Special Representative in the Sudan; former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Nigeria
Mr. Kingibe was appointed minister of foreign affairs of Nigeria in 1993, after the annulment by the military of the elections in which he had been elected vice president. He also served as Minister of Internal Affairs and as Minister of Power and Steel until 1998. He was a member of the Inter-Congolese Facilitation team. He is currently the African Union’s special representative in the Sudan and chairman of Nigeria’s Euro-Bank.
