Last May, Senator Joseph Biden and Council President Emeritus Leslie H. Gelb proposed a five-point plan for the future of U.S.involvement in Iraq. Since then, the U.S. military has continued the process of handing over security operations to Iraqi forces, but American public support for the war has waned as fighting has intensified. In a continuation of our Iraq: The Way Forward series, Senator Biden will discuss his ideas for how Iraq and the United States should proceed.
