U.S. Climate Action Report

Every three to five years, the State Department produces a U.S. Climate Action Report, a requirement under the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change, which the United States joined in 1992. The reports detail actions taken in the United States to address climate change. The United States submitted the first U.S. Climate Action Report (CAR) to the UNFCCC Secretariat in 1994, the second in 1997, the third in 2002, the fourth in 2007, the fifth in 2010, and the sixth in 2014.
