African Union Plan of Action on Drug Control and Crime Prevention Enforcement Mechanism

The African Union Revised Plan of Action on Drug Control and Crime Prevention was adopted on December 7, 2007 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

The primary goal of this Plan of Action is to reverse the current trends of drug abuse and trafficking, organised crime, corruption, terrorism and related challenges to socio-economic development and human security and to achieve tangible improvement in the social and pers onal well-being of the people of Africa and their communities. Accordingly the following are the key priority areas.
