The June 1st deadline for the Foreign Affairs inaugural student writing contest is quickly approaching. We hope you will encourage your students to take advantage of this unique opportunity. The contest is open to undergraduate and all equivalent first degree students across the globe. Qualifying essays must answer the following question in English, “What is likely to be the most interesting development in international politics over the next decade?”
The Foreign Affairs editorial staff will select one student’s essay to be published on the Foreign Affairs website, www.foreignaffairs.com. In addition, the winner will receive a prize of $500. Five honorable mentions will receive a free year-long subscription to Foreign Affairs magazine.
We look forward to reading quality submissions from your students and protégés. Please help spread the word by forwarding this email to your colleagues, students, and listservs. To read more about the contest guidelines, visit ForeignAffairs.com/StudentEssay.
