Treaty on Conventional Armed Forces in Europe

Published 1990

This treaty places limits on the deployment of conventional military equipment in Europe. It was signed in 1990. In 1999 an amended version was drawn up but not signed by the U.S. and other NATO members due to the issue of Russian troops in Georgia and Moldova.
