David S. Law

International Affairs Fellow in Japan, 2007-2008

David S. Law is a professor of law and political science at Washington University in St. Louis. He teaches constitutional law, administrative law, federal jurisdiction, and various courses in the area of judicial politics. Prior to joining the faculty at Washington University, he served as an associate professor of law at the University of San Diego and as an associate adjunct professor of political science at the University of California, San Diego; as an associate at Munger Tolles & Olson LLP in Los Angeles; and as a law clerk to the Honorable Stephen Reinhardt of the U. S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He holds a BCL from the University of Oxford, a JD from Harvard University, and a PhD from Stanford University. Professor Law spent his fellowship tenure in Tokyo at Keio University.
