The UN General Assembly passed a resolution on February 5, 1952, about two drafts of international treaties human rights. This resolution is known as the International Bill of Human Rights, and consists of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights, and the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights and its two Optional Protocols. The UN produced a fact sheet explaining the background of the resolution and all its components.
