UN Resolution Regarding UNAMI (Draft)

Introduced by the U.S. and Britain, this draft resolution would expand the role of the U.N. Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI). Under the revised mandate, the mission would "advise, support, and assist" Iraq "on advancing their inclusive, political dialogue and national reconciliation", electoral and Constitutional processes, border issues, census, humanitarian assistance and refugee return, implementation of the Iraq Compact, economic and civil reform, human rights and legal reform, and other elements.
