UN Security Council Resolution 949, Iraq

The resolution demands that Iraq immediately withdraw all military units deployed in southern Iraq, and not utilize its military or any other forces to provoke or threaten neighbors or UN operations in Iraq. The resolution was in response to recent Iraqi military deployments near the Kuwait border.
