UN Resolution 2149: Central African Republic

This resolution was adopted April 10, 2014, and established the UN Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in the Central African Republic (MINUSCA). The mission was responsible for protecting civilians and their human rights, contributing to the political transition process, and assisting in Disarmament, Demobilization, Reintegration and Repatriation efforts. UN Resolution 2217 extended MINUSCA until April 30, 2016.
