Declaration of the Rights of Man

Published April 1948

The Declaration of the Rights of Man was adopted by various nations fo the Americas in April 1948, at the Ninth International Conference of American States in BogotŠ, Colombia. (The Organization of American States was founded at this same conference. ) The declaration predated the UNís Universal Declaration of Human Rights by a number of months.
