Jessica LeCroy is a former visiting senior fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations and the first State Department official to be detailed to the Center for Geoeconomic Studies. From 2004 to 2006 Ms. LeCroy was the U.S. consul general in Toronto, Ontario, and from 2001 to 2003 national security adviser to the secretary of the treasury. A career member of the Senior Foreign Service, Ms. LeCroy's overseas assignments have included Iraq, Georgia, Bosnia, the Netherlands, and Nicaragua. She retired from public service in 2008.
