Former U.S. Trade Representative Carla A. Hills and former Commander-in-Chief of the Pacific Command Dennis Blair chair the Task Force on U.S. Policy toward China. The Task Force, directed by Cyrus R. Vance Fellow in Diplomatic Studies Evans Revere, will review internal developments in China, assess the importance of the bilateral relationship, and recommended an overall strategy and specific policy recommendations to meet the near- and long-term challenges posed by America’s complex relationship with the PRC. The Task Force aims to release its report in the fall of 2006.
