Treaty on Strategic Offensive Reductions (Moscow Treaty)

This treaty between Russia and the United States limits each country's nuclear holdings so that by the treaty's expiration date of December 31, 2012, "the aggregate number of ... warheads does not exceed 1700-2200 for each Party". It was signed by Presidents George W. Bush and Vladimir Putin.
