  White Paper: China's Space Activities in 2006

  Published October 12, 2006

  Released soon after the US' National Space Policy, this white paper discusses China's space industry development over the past five years and goals for future development. Among these goals are the development applied satellites and expansion of satellite manufacturing; legislation "to formulate laws, regulations and space industrial policies for guiding and regulating space activities"; and increasing "diverse, multi-channel" funding sources.
