In return, Lebanon reportedly provided weapons and training to the Somalis, with the help of Syria and Iran. It adds that Iran attempted to exchange arms for uranium. Finally, it details the "rampant arms flows" and military supplies to Somali Islamists from various African and Middle Eastern nations. The report's sources are unclear and doubts have been raised as to the report's credibility.
