This report links global health issues with social issues and discusses disease and public health in the context of globalization. Several individuals involved in preparing the document reported that its release was blocked by a Bush administration official in the Office of Global Health Affairs, reportedly because it did not advance or compliment the Bush administration efforts. It was written in May 2006 and released in July 2007.
