The C. Peter McColough Program on International Economics

On C. Peter McColough’s retirement from CFR’s Board of Directors in 1987, the Xerox Corporation established the C. Peter McColough Program on International Economics in his honor. The program recognizes McColough’s contributions to CFR and the Xerox Corporation with a roundtable series that explores topics in finance, development, technology, and international trade.

C. Peter McColough (1922–2006)

In addition to serving on CFR’s Board of Directors for nine years, C. Peter McColough also served as treasurer from 1985 to 1987, chairman of the Finance and Budget Committee from 1981 to 1987, and chairman of the Campaign for the Council from 1983 to 1985. At Xerox, he was chief executive officer from 1968 to 1982 and chairman from 1971 to 1985.
