Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (H.R. 3590)

This Senate health care bill (H.R. 3590) was passed by the Senate on December 24, 2009. The House's health care bill was passed by the House of Representatives on November 7, 2009.

On March 21, 2010, the House passed the Senate bill with these changes; the final vote was 219-212. The bill passed to the Senate, which voted 56-43 in favor of the changes. On March 25 the bill returned to the House, where it received a final vote of 220-207.
