UN Security Council Resolution 1977, Non-Proliferation

Published April 20, 2011

This UN Security Council resolution regarding the non-proliferation of weapons of mass destruction was adopted on April 20, 2011. It extended the the mandate of the Security Council Committee established through Resolution 1540 for the purposes of preventing acquisition of weapons of mass destruction by terrorists and other non-state entitities.
