International Convention for the Conservation of Atlantic Tunas (ICCAT)

The International Commission for the Conservation of Atlantic Tunas states that this convention is “responsible for the conservation of tunas and tuna-like species in the Atlantic Ocean and its adjacent seas”.  It was adopted on May 14, 1966 and entered into force on March 21, 1969. It was amended in 1984 and 1992.
