Kazin: G-8 Agenda Should Focus on Energy and Trade, Not Russia's Rollback of Democracy

Philip Kazin, research director of the Baltic Research Center, a St. Petersburg-based think tank, says the agenda of the upcoming G-8 Summit in St. Petersburg should focus on trade and energy issues, not on Russia's rollback of democracy. Another important issue is Iran; Kazin says Russia can play an important "mediator role" to resolve the current nuclear crisis.
