Blog Post
Blog posts represent the views of CFR fellows and staff and not those of CFR, which takes no institutional positions.

I sat down yesterday with my colleague Ted Alden to discuss Donald Trump’s recent trade and immigration initiatives. We talked about U.S. withdrawal from the Trans-Pacific Partnership, bilateral versus global trade agreements, the future of U.S. trade policy, U.S.-Mexican border tensions, and immigration restrictions, among other topics.

You can check out the video of our discussion below or on Facebook. (And I urge you to check out Ted’s book Failure to Adjust: How Americans Got Left Behind in the Global Economy.)
