It\u00a0also\u00a0made clear that the United States will\u00a0exert\u00a0its influence in its own\u00a0neighborhood, the Western Hemisphere.\u00a0Recent\u00a0U.S.\u00a0action in Venezuela\u00a0further\u00a0illustrated\u00a0that intention.
