Senator Kerry says, as president, he would convene a bipartisan “Emergency Security Summit” to explore ways to implement recommendations of the 9/11 Commission report.

President Bush says, since September 11th, his administration has “taken unprecedented steps to defend the homeland, to increase security, and to give our brave first responders the tools they need to deal with a terrorist attack,” and that the recommendations of the 9/11Commission will help it do more.
