Join this webinar to explore practical approaches for engaging students in the work of historical inquiry with CFR Education, the educational arm of the Council on Foreign Relations. Drawing on a new collection of CFR Education teaching resources for IB History educators, this session examines how primary sources, simulations, collaborative activities, and other active-learning strategies can help students evaluate competing perspectives, assess evidence, and develop their own arguments regarding world history.

In this webinar, participants will

  • explore classroom strategies that support inquiry-based and student-centered history teaching;
  • discover ways to use primary sources and competing perspectives to deepen students’ understanding of historical events;
  • experience how simulations, timelines, and collaborative activities can turn historical questions into opportunities for analysis and discussion;
