Marcel J. Lettre

Marcel Lettre is currently Vice President, National Security Affairs at Lockheed Martin Corporation in Washington DC where he focuses on intelligence programs.  He previously served eight years in the Obama Administration under four Secretaries of Defense, including as Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence, Deputy Chief of Staff to Leon Panetta, and Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Legislative Affairs.  At the Pentagon, he advised the Secretary of Defense in significant defense strategy and budget decisions, and in the management of current military and counterterrorism operations and alliance relationships.  Prior to the Pentagon, Marcel served for seven years on Capitol Hill, as Senior National Security Advisor to the Senate Majority and Minority Leader, and as a professional staff member on the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, where he conducted Congressional oversight of intelligence and defense activities.
