On May 15-17, 2016, the Council on Foreign Relations hosted the Council of Councils Fifth Annual Conference in New York.

Participants discussed five major themes:

  • Managing Flows of Refugees and Migrants
  • Global Economic Governance: Preventing the Next Crisis
  • The Situation in Syria
  • The Way Forward on Global Internet Governance
  • Asian Security Architecture
