The International and the Domestic: Latin America and U.S. Policies and Politics

Friday, September 12, 2008

Trade, immigration, and energy security have all emerged as key domestic policy issues for the next administration. Beyond the appeal to American voters, these issues are each shaped by Latin America and U.S.-Latin America relations. This symposium will explore the growing links between the United States and Latin America, and will examine U.S. domestic and foreign policies surrounding this complex set of issues.

This symposium is made possible by the generous support of the Ford Foundation and the W.K. Kellogg Foundation.
