Matt Quam

Vice President and Chief Development Officer

Matt Quam joined the Council on Foreign Relations in January 2025 as Vice President and Chief Development Officer. At CFR, he leads all fundraising and development activities, including principal and major gifts, foundation relations, annual giving, planned giving, board engagement, donor events, and stewardship. He previously served in senior development roles at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Columbia University, and Carnegie Hall. He has an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BA from Concordia College.
