Samuel Henry Lazarus

Special Assistant to the President and Geoeconomics Analyst

Sam Henry Lazarus is a geoeconomic analyst and special assistant to the President at the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR). His research focuses on U.S. national security and the intersection of markets and geopolitics. Prior to joining CFR, Lazarus founded a software company and served as CEO of the Georgetown University Alumni and Student Federal Credit Union. Lazarus is a graduate of Georgetown University’s Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service, where he studied international politics and Mandarin.
