• May 20: Kidnappers abducted one priest in Okigwe, Imo. 
• May 20: Gunmen killed two police officers in Ughelli North, Delta. 
• May 20: Gunmen killed two police officers in Ngor-Okpala, Imo. 
• May 20: Herders killed one in Oguta, Imo. 
• May 20: Bandits killed nine and abducted three in Birnin-Gwari, Kaduna. 
• May 20: Herders killed six in Apa, Benue. 
• May 20: Bandits killed two in Kachia, Kaduna. 
• May 21: Communal violence led to six deaths in Takum, Taraba.  
• May 21: Herders killed one in Riyom, Plateau. 
• May 21: Herders killed eighteen in Guma, Benue. 
• May 21: Communal violence led to four deaths in Mangu, Plateau. 
• May 22: Gunmen killed one police officer in Abakaliki, Ebonyi. 
• May 22: Bandits abducted two in Kachia, Kaduna. 
• May 24: Three police officers and two gunmen were killed during an attack on a police station in Onicha, Ebonyi. 
• May 24: Communal violence led to three deaths in Mangu, Plateau. 
• May 24: Kidnappers abducted two pastors in Yola, Adamawa.
• May 25: Gunmen killed two traditional leaders in Oguta, Imo. 
• May 26: Kidnappers abducted one priest in Mbaitoli, Imo.
• May 26: Bandits killed twenty-two in Maradun, Zamfara.
• May 26: Unknown attackers killed six in Kano, Kano.
