Montenegro accused the Russian government of launching a widespread cyberattack against computer systems. The attack lasted several days and severely harmed several vital industries, including electricity and water systems, transportation networks, and online portals for state services. The U.S. embassy issued a warning to travelers in the country that immigration systems run by the Montenegrin government could have been affected by the hack.
