Jendayi E. Frazer
Jendayi E. Frazer is a former U.S. assistant secretary of state for African affairs and senior director for African affairs on the National Security Council staff. She served as the first female U.S. ambassador to South Africa.

Jendayi E. Frazer is an adjunct senior fellow for Africa studies at the Council on Foreign Relations, managing partner of Africa Exchange Holdings, and president of 50 Ventures, LLC. She previously served as U.S. assistant secretary of state for African affairs, special assistant to the president and senior director for African affairs on the National Security Council staff, and the first female U.S. ambassador to South Africa.
