The Program
The Cyrus R. Vance Fellowship in Diplomatic Studies was in operation from 1974 to 2012.
The Cyrus R. Vance Fellowship in Diplomatic Studies program offered outstanding Foreign Service officers from the U.S. Department of State the opportunity to spend a year affiliated with CFR in New York as a visiting fellow and to step away from the demands of public service to reflect on foreign policy issues.
