Jarrett N. Blanc

Jarrett Blanc has been the chief-of-party for International Foundation for Election Systems (IFES), Center for Transitional and Post-Conflict Governance in Iraq and in the Palestinian Authority. He advised the Coalition Provisional Authority and the Iraqi Governing Council on the establishment of the Independent Electoral Commission of Iraq (IECI) and on the electoral calendar and legal framework. He was a senior advisor to the IECI in the planning and implementation of the January 30, 2005 elections. In the Palestinian Authority, he advised the Central Elections Commission, Palestinian Legislative Council, and the diplomatic community and coordinated IFES’ technical assistance program. Mr. Blanc also has field experience in Afghanistan, Kosovo, Lebanon, and Nepal. He has an A.B. in government from Harvard College and has worked for the Institute for Defense Analyses and for New York City.
