Comments are working now

Technical difficulties, probably related to the more aggressive measures I took last night in my ongoing battle to keep this site from becoming one large ad for online gambling. Hopefully, they will be back up soon. My apologies.

Update: I still don’t know what is causing the difficulties with the comments; I have (I think) unbanned the URLs I banned yesterday, but that does not seem to be the cause of the problem.

Update 2: the comments section should be working now.

Update 3: and the spam artists are back at work as well -- I am gonna have to find some way to control "Texas hold’um"; if you ever cannot post as a result, do let me know.
