Nicholas F. Beim

Partner, Venrock

Nicholas F. Beim is a partner at Venrock, the venture capital firm created by the Rockefeller family that helped pioneer the venture capital industry. He focuses primarily on artificial intelligence (AI), financial technology, and defense. Beim serves on the boards of directors of Dataminr, an AI platform that identifies critical breaking information from publicly available data; Percipient.ai, a visual intelligence platform for national and corporate security; Altruist, a digital investment platform for financial advisors; Vanilla, an estate planning software platform; and Interos, a supply chain risk management platform. He serves on board of directors of Endeavor, a nonprofit that supports high-impact entrepreneurs globally, and on the Advisory Board of the Center on Global Energy Policy. Beim previously worked at Matrix Partners, Goldman Sachs, and McKinsey & Company. He received a BA in philosophy from Stanford University and an MPhil in international relations from Oxford University.
