Blair W. Effron is co-founder and a managing partner of Centerview Partners. Centerview, founded in 2006, is an independent investment banking firm specializing in general advisory, mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, restructuring and principal investing. Since its founding, the firm has advised in nearly $1 trillion in transactions. Mr. Effron began his career at Dillon Read in 1987 and remained with the firm through successive mergers culminating in senior positions with UBS, including group vice chairman and a member of the investment bank board of directors. Mr. Effron advises a range of global companies across sectors including the consumer, general industrial, healthcare, media and retail industries. Mr. Effron serves on the board of trustees of Lincoln Center, the Metropolitan Museum of Art and New Visions for Public Schools. He also sits on the advisory boards of the Hamilton Project and the Center for American Progress. Mr. Effron holds a BA from Princeton University and a MBA from Columbia Business School. He is based in New York, NY.
