Colonel Jon A. Eberlan of the U.S. Air Force was recently commander of the 75th Air Base Wing, Hill Air Force Base, Utah, which provides installation support for the Ogden Air Logistics Complex, two fighter wings, and fifty other associate units, totaling twenty-four thousand active duty, civilian, and contractor personnel. Additionally, the wing directly supports Air Expeditionary Forces operations and has base support responsibility for the operation of the 1,500-square-mile Utah Test and Training Range. Eberlan formerly served as commander of the 309th Aircraft Maintenance Group, Ogden Air Logistics Complex, Hill Air Force Base, Utah. He has served as a group commander, squadron commander, and squadron operations officer and has performed staff duties at the major command, Air Staff, and joint levels. Eberlan enlisted in the Air Force in 1990 and earned his commission as a distinguished graduate of Officer Training School in 1998.
